I absolutely adore "Of Monsters and Men," and they're sure to be featured on the blog again. When I first heard this song, I thought, "This sounds like a party!" Then I listened to the lyrics, and realized it's actually quite dark. I love songs like that: light, upbeat-sounding songs with dark meaning behind them. I even tried to write one once. Perhaps someday I'll share that. But for now, we'll just await the day "Stories of the Early Days" is ready for publication, and enjoy songs by people who actually know what they're doing.
